The 2007 Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner

The National Space Club is pleased and proud to announce that The Honorable John Glenn will be the featured speaker at the 50th Annual Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner.

The dinner will be held in the Washington Hilton Ballroom on Friday, March 23, 2007. A reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. will precede the dinner, with dinner starting at 7:30. The award ceremonies will culminate with the presentation of the Goddard Memorial Trophy.

The Goddard Trophy, premier award of the National Space Club and the aerospace industry, was established in 1958 and is presented each year at the Goddard Memorial Dinner. The recipient of this award is nominated and selected by the Honorary Board of Governors of the National Space Club, voting by secret ballot. The winner of the trophy will be announced approximately one month before the dinner, and the information will be posted on this page.

Rates for large suites begin at $550. If you are booking a suite, call the Hospitality Manager at (202) 797-5809. This is for suites only, not room reservations.

Please be sure to tell the hotel that these rooms are in conjunction with the Goddard Memorial Dinner and reserve early to be certain of obtaining the rooms you require. The cutoff date for room reservations in our block is February 19, 2007.
