Education & Outreach

The National Space Club sponsors the following programs in support of its educational objectives:

The National Space Club Keynote Scholarship

The National Space Club offers a major scholarship each year to encourage study in the STEM-related fields. The scholarship, which includes the opportunity to serve as the Keynote speaker at the Goddard Memorial Dinner, the premier networking event in the Aerospace field, as well as $10,000 is awarded, to a U.S. citizen in at least the senior year of an accredited U.S. High School through Graduate University, who, in the judgment of the award committee, shows the greatest interest and aptitude. The Dr. Robert H. Goddard Scholarship

The National Space Club offers a major scholarship each year to encourage study in the field of engineering and science. The scholarship, in the amount of $10,000, is awarded to a U.S. citizen in at least the junior year of an accredited university, who, in the judgment of the award committee, shows the greatest interest and aptitude. Olin E. Teague Scholarship

The National Space Club offers a scholarship each year in memory of the Honorable Olin E. Teague, a Representative in Congress who aggressively supported our national space program, to encourage talented young people to pursue careers in aerospace fields. The scholarship, in the amount of $4,000.00, is awarded to a graduating high school senior at an accredited U.S. high school. The student must be a U.S. Citizen. This scholarship program is intended to encourage talented young people to pursue careers in aerospace fields. For information on how to apply, please see the Olin E Teague scholarship page.

The National Space Club Scholars Program

The National Space Club cooperates in the sponsorship of a number of summer internships at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and its Wallops Flight Facility. The NSCSP is open to graduating high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. For information on the program and the requirements for participation, please see the National Scholars Program page.
