Science Fair Judge Volunteers

The National Space Club is currently seeking volunteers to serve as judges for Washington Metro Area Science Fairs that are supported by the NSC. This is an important function of the National Space Club and is one way we reach out to the next generation of scientists and engineers that are so important to maintaining U.S. leadership in Space.

Judges will be responsible for selecting a winner for each Science Fair to receive a $500 cash award from the NSC for the top project in Space Science and Engineering. In addition to the cash award, judges will also select approximately three Certificate of Merit winners. The top award winners from each Science Fair will also be invited to participate in the annual Goddard Luncheon at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in June. Judges will be responsible for arriving at the appointed time, signing in, and then visiting students' displays and talking with them about their fair entries.

62nd Prince George's Area Science Fair
Date: Saturday, March 27, 2010
Time: Check-in at 7:45 am, Judging from 8:15 am to 1:00 pm
